How to Export Logs to Your Automation System in Radio Workflow
Step 1: Set up the Log Export Location
- Go to the settings menu in Radio Workflow.
- Click on "media outlets."
- Click a media outlet to open it.
- Select your automation system from the list.
- Enter the Log Export Location where Radio Workflow will place the log files each day. Ensure that Workstation has access to this location.
Step 2: Install Workstation
- Visit docs.radioworkflow.com.
- Look for the "Workstation" section.
- Click on the "Introduction to Workstation" link.
- Download the latest version of Workstation.
- Once the installer has been downloaded, run it to install Workstation on your local machine.
- Confirm the installation by checking for the Workstation icon on your desktop.
Step 3: Export Logs
- Open Workstation.
- Open Daily Logs in the Workstation menu bar.
- Choose Export Logs.
- Alternatively, you can use the shortcut key (Alt + Shift + E) to quickly run the export engine.
Step 4: Verify the Export
- Check the status of the logs in the daily logs section.
- When the logs are exported, their status will change from "not exported" to "exported."
- This indicates that Workstation has placed the log file for that particular log into the automation folder you set up in the Log Export Location.
Reexport a Log
- Go to the daily logs section in the web interface.
- Locate the log you want to export.
- The logs that have been created in Radio Workflow will be displayed here.
- Each day when you lock your log, it will move from the "drafting" section to the "unreconciled" section.
- Click on the cog wheels icon next to the log you want to export.
- Select "re-export log" from the options.
- Then follow step 3 to export the logs again
